Ruralco Water’s ‘Water Resilience Session’ aims to provide attendees with information and options to mitigate future season uncertainties, including drought, short falls as well as key drivers that impact the water market.
Held on Wednesday 19 March at the Cohuna Football/Netball Clubrooms at 6:30pm
Shaannie Webb and Heather Henderson will take you through a detailed presentation on:
- The current market landscape
- Possible future water availability scenarios
- Products (Forwards, Leases & Carryover)
- Next season possible outlooks
Shaannie and Heather will also be joined by Robert R O’Connor from Agriculture Victoria to discuss insights into water availability and potential shortfalls risks. Rob is a Technical Specialist with Irrigation Services, Agriculture Victoria. Rob has worked with the northern Victorian farming community for over thirty years. He specialises in irrigation management and water policy. Over recent years Rob has been assisting with early and informed seasonal farm management decision making by producing regular Upcoming Water Availability Updates. These updates summarise current water availability across the connected Southern Basin and the settings for future water availability.
Followed by a representative from DelayPay to discuss options to optimize your cash flow in order to take advantage of new opportunities.
